After Janet Jackson announced the birth of her son in January, rumors that she allegedly had a secret child with ex-husband James DeBarge resurfaced.

While it's all been hearsay since then, DeBarge's mother, Etterlene, has spoken out in an attempt to add some validity to the rumor, and she claims to have receipts.

Speaking with Inside Edition, she claims the pop music icon secretly had a daughter with her son 31 years ago. She recalled a specific conversation she had with Jackson about the alleged pregnancy at the time.

"I told her she was pregnant," she said. "I didn't ask her. I said, 'Girl, you pregnant. Look how fat you're getting.' She just laughed it off. She never denied it."

She went on to explain that since then, as the years went by, several women have come to her claiming to be the alleged secret daughter. There was one who she said she actually believed, though.

"I told her, 'The proof is in the pudding,'" she said. "Let's go get a DNA test."

The results, she said, showed that "the probability of relatedness is 96.7 percent."

The woman who alleges to have a probabl match is said to be 31 and lives in Philadelphia.

Janet Jackson, who recently gave birth to a healthy baby boy earlier this year, has never spoken out about the allegations.
