Serena Williams and Husband Alexis Ohanian Reveal Name of Baby No. 2
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian announced the birth of their second daughter on Tuesday (August 22).
They also just revealed that her name is Adira River Ohanian.
Supporters commented on the name reveal post, including supermodel Naomi Campbell, who wrote, “Congratulations @serenawilliams sending love to you and your beautiful family." As well as R&B singer Ciara--who is expecting her fourth child, writing, "So sweet! Welcome precious princess!"
The couple also shares 5-year-old daughter Olympia, who cuddled up with her mommy as they shared Adira with the world in a sweet TikTok video.
While pregnant with her latest bundle of joy, PEOPLE reported that Williams traveled to Europe for a babymoon in June surrounded by her hubby, daughter Olympia, and sisters Lyndrea Price and Isha Price. She documented her travels on Instagram in a carousel of fun images, including Olympia stealing the spotlight in a cute pose.
The couple had a gender reveal event at the end of July where a drone flew overhead in the evening sky.
As previously reported, the words “IT’S A…” appeared while the guests in the night sky then vanished. Finally, “GIRL!” appeared in pink, and the growing family erupted joyfully.
The proud parents exchanged kisses, overwhelmed with excitement, while the Reddit co-founder held Olympia in his arms.
Williams and Ohanian met in 2015 and welcomed their first child, Olympia, two years later. The duo tied the knot on November 16, 2017, in New Orleans, LA, as reported by Brides.
