See Serena Williams Wow On The Red Carpet With Her First Appearance Since Giving Birth
Mama's gotta live too, right? Serena Williams has qualms about testing that theory out!
Since giving birth to her beautiful bundle of joy earlier this year, Alexis Ohanian Jr., Serena finally stepped back out on the red carpet for Glamour Magazine's 2017 Women of the Year Awards.
The hot mama presented model Gigi Hadid with the Supernova Award, donning a sleeveless black and gold Versace dress that showed off her enviable arms and legs. The snapback is REAL!
“Gigi, you are one of the few people on this planet I would leave my baby for — for one night — but for you, it shows how much you mean to me. And I want you to imagine the effect you have on the world,” the 36 year-old athlete shared with the audience at Brooklyn's historic Kings Theatre.
Of course, we aren't the only ones who stan for Serena — Gigi gushed her appreciation as well.
"Serena, I just want to say you have been such a beautiful light in my life for so many years, and I can't tell you how happy I am to call you my friend," said Gigi. "I love you so much, so thank you."
Last night, Serena came for our edges with a sleek ponytail accented with gold metal accessories and a fierce dark lip. Honestly, she's looking amazing from all angles.
Her new look is all thanks to glam gods Renny Vasquez and Vernon Francois; she recently tapped into the duo for her CNBC appearance last week.
We can't wait to see what other beauty looks she has up her sleeve. What do you think about her post-baby red carpet debut?
