Time really does heal all.

50 Cent and Fat Joe have had a very public beef that dates back to over 10 years ago. If you know your hip hop history, it all started when Fat Joe appeared on Ja Rule’s “New York” song in 2004, which made Fif feel a certain type of way. He saw Joey’s move to collaborate with Ja as possibly aligning himself with his one-time foe. It sparked tons of back-and-forth diss records, namely “Piggy Bank” and “My Fo Fo.”

However, as the years went on, they slowly squashed the beef to show their solidarity during tough times, like the death of Violator co-founder and former manager Chris Lighty. Their landmark performance at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards was a moment that led to them recording together again on DJ Kay Slay’s “Free Again.” Now, it seems Joey Crack and Fif are the best of friends.

Over the July 4 weekend, the pair was spotted together in a group photo with director Eif Rivera and a few others. It marked the unity of G-Unit and Terror Squad after years of turmoil. Maybe this partnership will lead to new music? One can only hope.
