Roy Jones Jr. Accepted Michael B. Jordan’s Challenge to Fight And No One Thinks It’s A Good Idea
Roy Jones Jr. has accepted actor Michael B. Jordan’s challenge to box.
TMZ reports the veteran boxer is game for the fight after Jordan mused about a possible bout. “We’ll make it happen,” Jones Jr. said.
Originally, the Creed actor said, "Roy Jones, that's my dude, bro ... I feel like I could do my thing a little bit. I could hold my thing, right now, but in his prime, nah.”
Jones believes his veteran status is actually what gives him experience and an edge. "I know he can't beat me still," he said.
As for early predictions, actor/comedian D.L. Hughley believes the match won’t even be close. "Roy Jones Jr. ain't what he was, but he'd still beat the s**t outta Michael B. Jordan," he said. "Even though Roy Jones Jr. won't remember his name, he'll beat the hell out of Michael B. Jordan."
