#LawrenceHive Rejoice! 'Insecure' Dropped A Major Bomb, And Twitter Is Screaming
*SPOILER ALERT*
Well, here's something Insecure fans didn't see coming.
To the dismay and shock of the #LawrenceHive, the show's creator, Issa Rae, and its showrunner, Prentice Penny, shared prior to the current season's premiere that Jay Ellis' character will not be a focal point of the series any longer. However, last night's episode skewed that sentiment a bit as the familiar face made his way back into the narrative in the most jaw-dropping way.
Concluding the hilariously epic #BeyChella-themed episode was an immensely unexpected scene showing Issa Dee running into ex-boyfriend Lawrence while on an errand run at 7-Eleven.
The brief episode cliffhanger left fans gagging, to say the least, and it's safe to say that the show's genius cast got the last laugh on this one.
In fact, Ellis, himself, took to Twitter to react to the hysteria that engulfed Twitter immediately after the explosive moment was unveiled:
From filing petitions to get their favorite character back into the mix to taking to several social media sites to express their outrage over his rumored exit, the #LawrenceHive was definitely upset to see their fave go. However, they wasted no time getting back into formation after it was shown that he's back and seemingly for a while.
