Beanie Sigel Says He Didn't Apologize to Jay-Z
In a new interview, former Roc-A-Fella mainstay Beanie Sigel says he never apologized for comments he made about his old friend and boss Jay-Z, despite reports to the contrary. Sitting down with Green Lantern for an interview with Sirius XM radio, Sigel took the opportunity to clear the air.
"I never made a public apology," the Broad Street Bully said. "You never heard me say 'apology'."
In an interview with XXL magazine last month, Sigel said he was grateful to Jay-Z for the chances he was given and expressed regret over letting his feelings get the best of him with previous negative statements. But Sigel says he doesn't owe anyone an apology.
"If people interpreted that as an apology, I don't got nothin' to apologize for," he said. "At the end of the day, I still feel how the f**** I feel."
Sigel said his comments to XXL were intended to put the issue of his conflict with Jay to rest and that he was tired of talking about the issue.
"There's more to Beanie Sigel than what me and Jay did," he said.
