Kim Kardashian West wants to bring a little holiday cheer to her fans during the giving season.
The successful reality star and entrepreneur sent out a tweet to her 68 million followers saying she wants to send 1,000 people $500 following such a chaotic year. "Hey guys! 2020 has been hard and many are worried about paying rent or putting food on their table- I want to spread the love by sending $500 to 1000 people."
Partnering with Cash App, Kardashian West encouraged her followers to send her their $cashtag’s alongside the #KKWHoliday hashtag. In less than 24 hours, more than 200,000 responses poured in from first-time mothers, students needing help with paying for their tuition, and more.
Earlier this year, Kardashian West announced on her Instagram that her Skims shapewear brand was donating $1 million to mothers and children in need who had been impacted by COVID-19.
