Bill Cosby is facing one of his many accusers in court over allegations that he sexually assaulted over 50 women during his career. While it seems like the fallen icon doesn't have any friends in the world, he does have his TV family by his side.

Both Keshia Knight Pulliam and Phylicia Rashad showed up to Cosby's trial in Philadelphia as a show of solidarity with the actor, a move that has caused a lot of controversy on social media. Now, Keshia is speaking out about why she decided to publicly support Cosby.

Speaking to reporters after the first day of court was adjourned, Keshia (sort of) defended Cosby, saying, "Ultimately, it’s about standing by your truth.” 

She added, "I want to be the person that I would like to have if the tables were turned... Right now it’s the jury’s job and the jury’s decision to determine guilt or innocence. It’s not mine or anyone else’s.”

Keshia also clarified that she will trust the court's ruling: “I don’t condone sexual assault in any way, shape or form, but, at the end of the day, our court system is set up … you’re innocent until proven guilty,” she said. “The job now is for the two sides to prove their cases and I accept whatever verdict is handed down.”

Her support was not lost on Cosby, who tweeted a photo of the two of them on Monday.
