Report: Nick Gordon Out of Rehab
Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend moved in with mom, source says.
Nick Gordon is out of rehab and living at his mom's house, a source tells People.com. Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend, who checked into treatment after admitting his drinking had gotten out of hand on Dr. Phil, was at the facility for seven weeks.
"He just wants to die," Gordon's mother Michelle Gordon told Dr. Phil at the time about her son's struggles with substance abuse, which she says hit a peak in the weeks after Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in her bathtub on January 31. "As we sit here right now, my son's life hangs in the balance."
Gordon has reportedly been banned from visiting Bobbi Kristina at the hospital and was even the center of a criminal investigation surrounding the cause of her condition.
"I hate Bobby Brown," Gordon told Dr. Phil about the R&B singer.
If Brown's motion to gain control of his daughter's affairs, as the New York Daily News reports he is doing, is successful, then Gordon may be cast even further out of the loop. The 22-year-old music scion is at a Georgia rehab facility where she is on life support. She has irreversible brain damage with little hope of improvement, her grandmother Cissy Houston revealed recently.
