Ja Rule Hints At The Idea Of A Special Guest Appearance With J.Lo At Super Bowl LIV
It’s been a year since we’ve seen Jennifer Lopez and Ja Rule perform together on stage. The duo performed their now-iconic hit record, “I’m Real (Remix),” at the 2001 and 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. The single won the 2001 MTV VMA for Best Hip-Hop Video.
After the official announcement that J.Lo would perform alongside Latin singer Shakira during the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show, Ja Rule is hoping to put a bug in the performer’s ear indicating he’d like to reunite once more.
“Maybe I will wear the pink Juicy tracksuit,” he recently joked with Page Six, referencing J.Lo’s signature attire in the “I’m Real (Remix)” music video. “It’ll be a great moment in hip-hop again.”
“If Jennifer asked me to come to the Super Bowl to perform with her, of course I will come. When have I ever not come when she asked to perform with her?”
The Growing Up Hip Hop: New York star was recently in the news when he went viral during his center court performance during his NBA Milwaukee Bucks halftime show in late February earlier this year.
