Rumors have been swirling that Fantasia Barrino has been in a very dark place since splitting from her baby daddy Antwaun Cook. But the singer and actress is denying rumors that she's been consumed by suicidal thoughts. 
“Lol!!! Who keeps this stuff Going?? It’s becoming a Lil questionable," Barrino writes on Instagram. "Lord lord lord. It’s almost been a Year and this is still going on. Lol!! He and I are not together. I’m not going anywhere so stop trying to make me dead."
The American Idol winner, who split from Cook when he went back to his estranged wife Paula Cook, seems to have a positive outlook on the new year. "I'm just getting started," she says in conclusion.
Between her breakup with Cook and the foreclosure on her Georgia mansion, Barrino's personal life has earned her as many column inches as her film and stage projects. But a look at her Twitter and Instagram profiles show she is ready to embrace the new year. The talented star claimed on Wednesday that her New Year's resolution was to "stay healthy and fit."
