Omarion's 'You Got Served 2' Announcement Has Fans Crying Tears Of Regret
Even if Omarion isn’t totally rejective of a possible You Got Served sequel, that doesn’t mean he has any parts of it right now, as he announced to his Twitter followers on Tuesday (January 15).
The B2K lead singer first discussed the possibility for the millennial-treasured 2004 blockbuster in a recent ET Live interview. Coincidentally, the interview happened to land in fans’ earshot right before another member of the throwback boy group J-Boog dropped a possible confirmation that a You Got Served 2 is actually in the works. With the anticipation of early ‘00s-charged Millennium Tour running high, it’d only make sense to throw in a word about another token of ‘80s and (early) ‘90s babies’ nostalgia.
But the anticipation of such a thing plummeted just as soon as it peaked, and all on account of O’s exclusion from it all.
After J-Boog dropped the ‘You Got Served 2’ teaser
O followed up with his own announcement about it…
“I want to make it clear that the ‘You Got Served’ sequel is not affiliated with myself, the tour, or our Dance Battle Challenge,” he wrote after praising fans’ anticipation and excitement for the tour and accompanying dance battle.
Fans took that and ran with as O’s way of saying he won’t be included in the film, essentially
And they’re not happy about it one bit.
