Serena Williams' Baby Girl Olympia Hits The Tennis Court With Impressive Technique

Olympia began playing the sport in 2020.

Olympia Ohanian may follow in her famous mom's footsteps on the tennis court.

On Sunday (September 24), the eldest daughter of Serena Williams and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian put her tennis racket to the test and left no crumbs, as reported by PEOPLE. The latest post on the 6-year-old's personal Instagram account features her training on the court, giving future phenom in the making.

In the frame, little Olympia is seen breaking a sweat while sporting a tank top, a pair of shorts, black and white sneakers, and two cute puff balls in her hair.

She grips the racket in her hands and performs a remarkable backhand shot technique.

"Papa is my ballboy," read the caption of the post. Her doting dad responded in the comment section with the right-hand-up emoji.

And if you think this is Olympia’s first time on the court, think again. The 23 Grand Slam champion told the outlet she began training in tennis during the pandemic.

"Honestly, we started because it's a socially safe sport, and when COVID happened, it was like, we're just in the house with a 3-year-old, what do we do?" Williams told PEOPLE. "There was only one answer, to my dismay."

In 2020, Olympia began her first lessons, but they were not with her mom.

"I signed Olympia up for tennis lessons," Williams noted. Then she teased, "Don't even start with me because I'm not giving her tennis lessons, I signed her up for some."

She also revealed to the publication that the instructor was unaware of who the famous heir was.

"But the lady has no idea that it's my daughter, so we'll see how that goes," she said with a smile. "I'm not a pushy mom, but I know how I like techniques, I want to make sure she's good at teaching Olympia some techniques."
