Although Malia, who is currently on her gap year, was not present, Sasha Obama appeared to be having a great time
And Chance the Rapper absolutely killed it on stage
President Obama used the evening's closing remarks to spread a message of love
“It’s a message of unity and a message of decency and a message of hope that never goes out of style. And it’s one that we all need very much today,” Obama said to the crowd before him. “After eight years as your president, I still believe that there is so much more that unites us than divides us.”
