Was the 'BBHMM' Video a Message to Rihanna's Former Accountant?
Rihanna's "BBHMM" video is taking the Internet by storm, but Fader is reporting that there may be more to the twisted revenge plot than bloody bodies and car bombs.
RiRi embodies slay while slaying (see what I did there?) her enemy who is characterized as "The Accountant aka The B***h." But who is "The Accountant" in real life you might ask?
Let's teleport back to 2012 and recall when Rih dropped a hefty lawsuit on her former accountant Peter Gounis of Berdon LLP for negligence. Rih claimed that "Gounis and company never told her that she was nearing bankruptcy, or that her Last Girl on Earth Tour was losing money. So she kept spending, and ran through $9 million in a year."
She also accused "Gounis's co-worker Michael Mitnick of advising her to buy a multi-million dollar mansion that she was forced to sell at a $2 million loss."
Her accountant later clapped back saying that it was the pop queen's excessive spending that drove her near to bankruptcy. In the end, it was reported she reached a $10 million settlement with the company. If you do the math, that means she made an extra mil off that lawsuit (insert infinite hair flips).
There's no confirmation to the idea that Peter Gounis is indeed "The Accountant aka The B***h," but Fader makes a strong argument to assume so.
Although Rih didn't have to kidnap anyone or slice some throats in real life, it's clear that you shouldn't mess with her money! Slay on Queeny!
