Cardi B is serious about her coin and has some advice for anyone who’s earning any type of money.

On Tuesday (December 20), the Bronx rapper took to Twitter and reminded fans that the country is going through a recession, but also to have a Merry Christmas.

While the message was rather uncontroversial, one Twitter user took issue with it and replied with a snide remark.

“Says the rapper worth 40 million,” the commenter wrote in a quote tweet of Cardi’s original message.

Seeing the reply, Cardi hit back, writing, “I’m worth more than that and guess what ? If I don’t save, work and budget I could lose it too! What makes you think that no matter how much money you got you can’t lose it all if you don’t manage your money correctly. I too have bills, responsibilities and people I have to help.”

Not technically in a recession, America is still financially shaky at the moment – struggling with high inflation, massive layoffs in many industries and frequent supply chain shortages.
