He has since posted bond and was released.

Kodak Black was reportedly arrested on Saturday (January 1) in Pompano Beach, Florida for trespassing.

According to CNN, the 24-year-old rapper was charged with misdemeanor trespassing, has since posted bond and was released from Broward County jail.

It isn’t clear as to what led up to Kodak’s New Year’s Day arrest.

CNN has reached out to both the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and Black’s representative for comment but has not heard back from either.

This is not the first time Kodak Black has been in trouble with the law. In 2016, he was indicted by a South Carolina grand jury after being accused of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. He has also been arrested multiple times on gun and drug charges.

In April 2019, he was arrested on separate gun and drug charges near Niagara Falls, New York while trying to enter the U.S. from Canada. Later that year he was sentenced to more than three years in prison on weapons charges after pleading guilty to knowingly making false written statements when trying to acquire firearms from a federally licensed firearms dealer.
