‘Sistas' Episode 7 Recap: 'Boy, Bye'

Aaron Is Over Karen, Andi’s New Man, And It’s Dani Vs. Everybody

Seven may be a lucky number in most cases, but not for TV's favorite Sistas. Last night, episode seven of Sistas premiered, and everyone's luck appeared to take a turn - for the worse!

On the most recent episode of Tyler Perry's TV drama, the lives of Andi (KJ Smith), Karen (Ebony Obsidian), Dani (Mignon Von) and Sabrina (Novi Brown) consist of the usual relationships woes, however, there now appears to be friendship woes as well.

Is the bond between sisters thicker than men? Check out the recap of last night's episode, below!

    KAREN:

"You move on that quick?! I'm crazy for coming back here!"

On the eve of his divorce being finalized, Aaron stops by to surprise Karen in front of her home. However, what starts off as a sweet, romantic gesture quickly turns sour when Karen's ex, Zack, pulls up in the middle of the two sharing a passionate kiss. After Karen throws a few verbal jabs at Zack, calling him everything from broke to a "nobody," Aaron expresses to Karen that her words to Zack were hurtful, and leaves the ferocious beautician with a few truthful words of his own.

If that surprise weren't enough, when Karen finally walks into her home, she is met with another surprise encounter - and it wouldn't be the last one that night.

    ANDI

"Thank you for reminding me of who I am."

During a late night stay at the office, divorce attorney Andi is disrupted by Miss Irene, a retired educator turned custodian who currently works at Andi's law firm. During an impromptu heart-to-heart chat, Miss Irene reveals to Andi that she started the cleaning company with her son, and insists that Andi meet him.

On her way out of the office, Andi finds Miss Irene unresponsive and immediately calls 911. While at the hospital, Andi meets Miss Irene's grandson, Paris, and the custodian-turned-cupid attempts to play matchmaker between the two. Unfortunately, after Paris drops Andi off home, she walks into her condo only to find her troubled lover, Gary, waiting for her - again.

    DANI

    "There's clearly something going on..."

Dani and Zack are still rooming together at Dani's place, and the tension between her and the girls is on the rise. At least that's what Dani thinks. During a failed attempt at a fun girls' night between the four women, Dani refers to both Andi and Karen as the "b-word," and Sabrina points out Dani's strange behavior as of late. Rather than address the situation, Dani instead leaves the table and joins a potential male suitor for a round of pool.

It's not clear what the root of Dani's issue is, but one thing is for certain, the usually easy-going gal pal was in no mood to be the group's cheerleader at happy hour.

    SABRINA

"My boyfriend is kind of the jealous type..."

Last night's episode shows Sabrina out and about at the lounge, but it's not what you think. After hesitating to make it official with Calvin, it appears Sabrina has a change of heart following their romantic rendezvous in episode six.

While awaiting the rest of her friends to join her for drinks, Sabrina is approached by a man.

However, the uptight bank-teller is quick to tell him that she is a happily taken woman. Whether or not Sabrina used the excuse of having a boyfriend to simply curve the would-be suitor is unknown. However, one thing is for sure, last night's episode proved that Sabrina may just be in the lead for "Most Likely to Have a Man," by the end of this season.

Sistas airs every Wednesday at 10pm/9c, only on BET!
