The internet did what the internet does on Wednesday (February 7) and struck up controversy with just a single photo: a white Tupac Shakur.

A Twitter user named @ColdTrain_ posted the viral photo of Pac in Photoshopped, white American form. The doctored picture swaps out his deep brown complexion and natural features for dramatically lighter skin, grey eyes and even freckles. Obviously, the photo isn’t meant to be interpreted as an actual representation of Pac. However, with Hollywood’s bad habit of whitewashing, the Twitter user gave everyone an idea of what they’d do with Pac if given the chance.
