Ray J and Princess Love detailed their struggles with conceiving a child in the recently concluded season of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, but after months of trying to no avail, the couple is officially expecting their first child together.

Ray J, who is co-hosting on today's episode of daytime morning talk show The Real, revealed the news to the ladies at the top of the show.

"Love is on my mind. Love is on my heart. Princess and I are expecting," he said before the audience erupted in applause. "I’m nervous, excited. It finally happened."

The "One Wish" singer added that while they don't know the sex of their unborn child just yet, he definitely has a preference.

"I would just like to have a little girl first," he said. "Because it’s just like daddy’s little girl. The little boy is probably going to be a little aggressive, so I just want to have some peace first, but whatever God blesses us with."
