Cardi B Says Her 4-Month-Old Son Just Spoke His First Words: ‘I’m Not Exaggerating, This Baby Is Talking’

According to the famous rapper, her baby boy recently spoke his first words while she was spending quality time with him. Quickly, the mother-of-two hopped on Instagram to share details about the big milestone.
“I'm not exaggerating. This baby is talking. I put this on everything I love in the name of Jesus Christ,” Cardi shared via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday (Jan. 5). “First of all, my husband saw it. Yesterday, I was like, ‘you love mommy? Yeah?’ Then I asked him again, ‘You love mommy?’ and he replied back like, ‘yeah.’”
The proud mom went on to explain that it wasn’t your typical baby babble. Instead, it was actual words. She later explained that it happened again while her little one was watching Cocomelon. This time, he clearly repeated the word, “hello.”
“Yo, this is crazy. I don't know if that's like the pandemic thing. I don't know if this is normal. Yo, like, this sh*t is crazy,” she continued.
According to WebMD, after 9 months, babies can understand a few basic words like "no" and "bye-bye." By the end of 12 months, most babies say a few simple words like "mama" and "dadda" and actually understand what they're saying.
Before concluding her IG video, Cardi insisted that she needed a camera in her baby’s room to capture the candid moments. “Like, I need a camera in this room 24/7 or something because you're talking— and you're just turned 4-months today,” she said before turning to her baby boy. “You talking forreal.”
