The legal troubles continue for Weezy. On Friday, Bridgeport Music filed a copyright infringment lawsuit against Lil' Wayne and Bryan "Birdman" Williams saying the pair sampled a 1970s song in their track "Army Gunz." The lawsuit, which was filed in the Central District of California Western division, claims Cash Money Records, Inc. used "You and Your Folks, Me and My Folks," a tune by Funkadelic off their album Maggot Brain, in Birdman's 2006 album Like Father, Like Son.

This is the third lawsuit brought against Lil' Wayne, Cash Money and Young Money in just one week. On June 9th, producers Play-N-Skillz sued Lil' Wayne for $1 million over unpaid royalties from the track "Got Money" off his hit album Tha Carter III. And on June 3rd, he received a $1.5 million lawsuit from producer David Kirkwood for unpaid royalties from Weezy's label Young Money and Cash Money Records.

With previous lawsuits this year for unpaid royalties, hopefully Weezy's Tha Carter IV, which will drop in August, brings in plenty of money if the allegations are true.
