Future and Ciara don't seem to agree on much these days, but they were able to put their differences on hold to celebrate the second birthday of their baby, Future Jr. The bitter exes each took to social media to wish their son a happy birthday, and even the little guy's step dad-to-be, Russell Wilson, shared some beautiful thoughts for the occasion.

While the rapper frequently uses social media to publicly voice his distaste for his ex and her new fiancé — prompting Ciara to slap a staggering $15 million lawsuit on the EVOL rapper — today he had nothing but nice things to say:

Ciara also shared her love for baby Future in a touching post: 

Russell Wilson left a beautiful comment on Ciara's post, saying, "Watching him grow over the past year and a half has been the most fulfilling and special things I've ever been around. He gets the purest and sweetest love from you and to watch you be the woman and mom you are ALL the time. Every morning. Every night. Every day... No matter what the circumstances or situation... Good or bad... Brings me so much joy & most importantly him. He is so blessed to have you hold him and hug him and love him with so much pure and real love that he will have no limits to what God has in store for him. You both bring me pure joy and I can't wait to see him grow more and more into the loving, caring, kind-hearted man that he will be...2 years old! Wow. God is good!" 

This kind of open display of affection could have easily prompted a warning from Future to Russell to keep his son's name out of his mouth, but thankfully (so far) everyone seems to be acting like adults. Maybe yesterday's court ruling has something to do with this newfound display of maturity?
In any case, Future Jr. deserves nothing but the best for his second birthday, and it looks like he's getting it.
