Al Roker Salutes Wife Deborah Roberts on Her 63rd Birthday
On Wednesday, Sept. 20, Al Roker shared a loving message to his wife, Deborah Roberts, on her 63rd Birthday. "Happy birthday to this lady who has given me so much, including the gift of a family to call my own, @debrobertsabc," he wrote, adding, "You are just getting warmed up."
The post featured several pictures of the couple, a photo of their children, Leila and Nicholas, and Roker's daughter Courtney from a previous marriage.
Roberts responded to the message, writing, "Love you," with heart and gift emojis.
Earlier this week, the couple celebrated 28 years of marriage and shared sweet messages to one another and photos from their life together.
"28 years ago, @debrobertsabc promised to be there for better, for worse, thick and thin. Good times and Bad. But the greatest gift is the family she has given me. Happy Anniversary, sweetheart."
While Roberts wrote, "Wow! It’s been 28 years." She continued, “Beginning with a few jitters, great excitement and hearts brimming with hope, we embarked on this journey. And it has been one great adventure. This last year has taught us to cherish each moment. You are mine…I am yours. And where you are, I am too. Happy anniversary my dearest. Let’s keep making memories @alroker.”
The couple recently welcomed a granddaughter, Sky, who Roker posted about, writing, "Here's to my little Sky Clara being here 2 months. That went fast," he captioned the post.
The adorable baby is the couple's first grandchild.
