Big Freedia’s foray into beauty means so much for the culture.

The heralded queen of New Orleans Bounce music and community has introduced her inaugural beauty line, Bold Beats. This collection features alluring nail tips, eyelashes, and a shadow palette.

In a press release, Big Freedia said, “On the road over the years, I saw very little gender-neutral makeup. I thought, why not develop a make-up line that’s for everyone – for all gender orientations and skin tones?” 

This beauty line has been her dream for years, and "to partner with an Afro-centric beauty brand, BLK/OPL, is truly an honor," said the performer.

Big Freedia took to Instagram to share the exciting news about the gender-inclusive makeup line, saying, “It’s finally here! The release of the collection will feature three distinct eyelash styles Yaka Yaka, Ya Best Believa, and Girl Down, two varieties of nail tips Swiggle Wiggle and Just Be Free, and an eyeshadow palette that promises to make a statement. The products range from $12.50 to $16.95.
