Well so much for keeping her life private. Kim Kardashian might have said she wanted to shy away from the limelight, but the reality TV star has been doing anything but that. Just days after her steamy cover with boyfriend Kanye West for L'Officiel Hommes hit the web, she's on the cover of Cosmopolitan's April issue talking about having it all, marriage and her relationship with West, with whom she's a expecting a child.
"I saw fast marriages like Khloe [Kardashian] and Lamar's and that was what seemed to work," Kardashian said. "[Now] I say give it a good six months before you commit. Feelings change, even if it seems so lustful."
Kardashian, who'd been friends with Yeezy for years before taking it further, is still trying to put an end to her 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries. The trial date for the divorce has been set for May, just a month before Kardashian is due to give birth to West's baby. Still, she hasn't completely crossed a marital happily ever after off her list.
"Sometimes you're just not ready," she said. "A person could have it all, and you're not ready for it all. But this is where I probably always should have been … [marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don't have this sense of urgency about it. I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me."
