Being Mary Jane returns for season four tonight at 10 p.m. on BET — right after Obama’s farewell address. Accordingly, Gabrielle Union has been doing a slew of promotion for the show. And while both she and her character have always been super chic, her fashion tour as of late has been extra on point.

Mary Jane relocated to NYC from Atlanta, and Union can clearly do winter style well. It’s freezing and snowy in New York, but she managed to look both cozy and fashion forward in this coat from Australian designer Dion Lee.

And yesterday Union did promo in a stunning dark floral dress from Naeem Khan. We love that she went for a long-sleeved dress. It was 19 degrees, after all, and too often style means showing a lot of skin. It's an unrealistic expectation under the circumstances! 

But the best look of all — and Union’s personal favorite — might be this show-stopping Thakoon dress. It’s formal while remaining modern and those pleats are beautifully constructed. Slay.
