Donald Trump Gets Slammed for the 'Sexist' and 'Creepy' Way He Spoke to a Female Reporter
"Anyone who thinks this is ok needs to wake the f up."
During a call with the Irish Prime Minister on Tuesday, President Trump took a moment to call over a female reporter and comment on her looks.
"We have all of this Irish, beautiful Irish press. Where are you from? Come here, come here..." Trump said to reporter Caitriona Perry.
"She has a nice smile on her face, so I bet she treats you well," the president said to PM Leo Varadkar.
Perry, who has been the Washington correspondent for the Irish public service broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann since 2014, quickly retreated after the awkward exchange.
Later in the day, Perry shared the recorded moment to her Twitter feed
Immediately, US citizens apologized on behalf of the president to the Irish reporter
Trump was slammed for treating Perry like an object for him to gawk at instead of a dignified journalist doing her job
