Shocking Evidence Of Birdman's Alleged Involvement In Lil Wayne's Tour Bus Shooting Leaked

The Cash Money CEO could be charged as a co-conspirator.

New details of Birdman's alleged involvement in the 2015 shooting of Lil Wayne's tour bus has recently surfaced.

As previously reported, Birdman and former Cash Money affiliate Young Thug have allegedly been investigated by Cobb County officials in connection to the Atlanta shooting, but new evidence possibly linking the music exec has surfaced.

  • Leaked audio from an alleged phone call between Birdman and the accused shooter Jimmy "PeeWee Roscoe" Winfrey" has been released.

The Cash Money Records co-founder was heard saying, "It's time for you to come out here and get your money, man... You done did everything you could do, boss," in a conversation with Winfrey. He followed up saying, "It's an eye-opener, bruh. Strictly business man."

  • A new civil suit filed by Wayne's bus driver, Alvin Lewis, named Birdman and Young Thug as co-conspirators.

According to WSBTV, the phone call in question along with phone records where Young Thug allegedly called Winfrey "eight times in the 12 minutes leading up to the shooting" are being used as evidence of their involvement of the shooting in Lewis' suit.

  • The alleged shooter's attorney, Mike Petchenik, disputed Lewis' conspiracy theory.

"This is just a bus driver looking to get paid and they need a deep pocket so if you connect Mr. Winfrey to other musicians or executives, that makes it a viable case for them," Petchenik said in a statement to WSBTV.

  • Jimmy "PeeWee Roscoe" Winfrey was arrested and charged with the shooting. He entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to 10-years in prison. His conviction was overturned by the Georgia Supreme Court after ruling the presiding Cobb County judge "improperly coerced" Winfrey into accepting a plea and threatening that he'd get more time if he was convicted by a jury.

  • These details come days after the Cobb County District Attorney's office revealed that they'd be deciding whether or not Birdman and Young Thug would be charged as co-conspirators in the 2015 shooting of Lil Wayne's tour bus.
