Bow Wow (Shad Moss) plays no games when it comes to protecting his hair—and neither does his daughter Shai Moss! While chatting about his newest collaboration with beauty brand KISS Colors and Care, the multi-talented entertainer and proud dad revealed that his daughter is a big fan of his haircare collection.

“She's probably the main reason why I have half a box of durags now,” Bow Wow playfully shared when we asked him if his daughter wears his luxe durags to maintain her natural curls. “Absolutely! When she wears them, she looks just like me when I was 13—especially when she has long box braids and braids straight to the back.”

He continued with pride, “Of course, kids always want to support anything that their parents are doing, but she's into the brushes. She definitely wears the durags and she loves it. When she sees me always brushing or seeing me get it braided, she’s like, ‘my dad likes looking good and feeling good,’ and that’s her, she’s big on hair too!”

He went on to share that his 10-year-old daughter has a durag in every color and she absolutely “loves it.”

It’s no surprise that the young model and actress is passionate about caring for her tresses. From fresh braids to dope fades, over the years Bow Wow has never missed an opportunity to look his best.

His love for looking fresh ultimately inspired his latest men’s products under the KISS Colors & Care x Bow Wow collaboration, which includes a luxe velvet durag and an innovative twist styling tool that’s 2x more durable and non-absorbent to prevent hair damage.

“Every product that you guys see, these are things that we sit on the phone and discuss,” he explained about his involvement with creating quality products that everyone will love. “I take it to the streets. I'm on YouTube, I see all the reviews. I love it when they love it because these are things that we all discussed in-house before it actually hits the marketplace.”

The star went on to explain that the KISS x Bow Wow Twist King tool is his favorite. “It’s never been done before. I was an avid user of the sponge when that was the only thing that we had to curl our hair, and I must admit I got tired of looking at little pieces of my hair in the little holes. It was so nerve-racking. I knew we had to come up with something that is super dope, super simple, super clean, and it has to be durable because it has to last. When you spend your money on something you want it to last. I'm very hands-on.”

During the virtual deskside with Bow Wow, we also had the opportunity to ask the business mogul about his go-to style for the summer. He responded, “Two braids to the back is my go-to for the summer if I'm rushing and I just need to look clean and neat without sitting down on the couch for an hour or two. Clean lineup, a durag, and I'm ready to go.”
