Lady Gaga is set to guest star as a judge on Fox's talent competition "So You Think You Can Dance" this season. Executive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe confirmed that Gaga will appear in the series this year and serve on the panel to critique the contestants.

"What she will do is give great advice on how to handle yourself, how to be creative with what you do, and how to be a fabulous performer," Lythgoe says. "She has actually done what I want these [contestants] to do, which is get an audience behind them."

Gaga actually made her U.S. television performance debut on this very dance show back in 2008 with her hit "Just Dance," which served as the show's Season 4 theme song. She also appeared on another Fox hit, "American Idol," where she coached future winner Scotty McCreery.
