Tyga released a new single last week (June 17) that has had fans questioning his inspiration ever since.

Taking to Twitter, many drew attention to the fact that Tyga’s song “1 of 1,” from his forthcoming B***h I’m the S**t 2, sounds eerily similar to Drake’s smash hit “Controlla.”

While the line between drawing inspiration and style-biting can be a thin one, many are saying that Tyga went a little bit too far. 

While both songs strongly draw from Jamaican influences, the tracks featuring several moments of near-identical production is what had listeners raising an eyebrow.

Is Tyga simply riding a wave or did he cross a line?
