Chris Brown Making Peace With His Past
Chris Brown is not going to apologize about "the incident" with Rihanna anymore.
In an interview with Page Six magazine (via Usmagazine.com), the formally squeaky-clean singer discussed the issue that will never really go away. Referring to the 2009 beating of his ex-girlfriend as a “mishap,” the remorseful Breezy discussed forgiveness, saying, “At the end of the day, if I walk around apologizing to everybody, I’m gonna look like a damn fool.”
For those who still refuse to forgive him, Brown added, “People are always gonna talk. But I’m in a positive place. I consider myself a grown-a** man.”
Brown also talked about some of the people who turned away from him. While he mentioned Pitbull and Pharrell Williams as those who stuck by him, of those that didn’t he said: “They don't want to get involved with it because they don't want their name attached to anything negative. Unknowingly, they kind of show their true colors when they do that."
He did add that he isn’t mad over it, though, saying, “The way I look at it is, you can't walk around mad, because then you just prove everybody right that you're an angry person."
