50 Cent Cool With Dr. Dre and Rick Ross Working Together
50 Cent's longstanding beef with Rick Ross is well documented, but the G-Unit general doesn't necessarily expect all his friends and associates to take up the fight. In a recent interview with Shade 45 radio, 50 addressed Ross's recent collaborations with his one-time producer and mentor, Dr. Dre.
"You know what I know about Dre? Creatively, he's saying, 'If there's a hit, wherever it is, I'm going to go get it,'" Fif said of the two working together.
"I don't care. These are people I have strong relationships with that have done things for me," he continued. "You don't bite the hand that feeds you. I've been raised that way.... What is 50 Cent's career minus 'In Da Club?'"
Dre, who executive produced three of 50's four albums, has reportedly collaborated with Rick Ross on both his upcoming Detox and Ross's own God Forgives, I Don't.
50 also discussed his upcoming Gangsta Grillz mixtape, The Lost Tape, with DJ Drama.
"Gangsta Grillz is actually the biggest mixtape brand you can be associated with," he said. "Everyone else has lost the consistency."
