This Is What Jeezy Meant When He Compared Donald Trump to Tupac...

"Did your ignorant a** listen to the whole interview?"

Earlier this month, Jeezy appeared on Taxtone's Tax Season podcast where the conversation, naturally, took a turn towards discussing the nearing presidential election.

During the interview, the Atlanta rapper didn't spend the airtime blasting Donald Trump, but instead praised his business sense, going as far to say as his work ethic reminds him of Tupac. He also added that if Trump was a rapper, he'd be like Pac. His comparison was met with so much criticism and backlash that Jeezy has decided to revisit his past statements to clarify exactly what he meant.

In a new interview with the Breakfast Club, the rapper was immediately met with questions regarding his previous commentary comparing Trump and Tupac.

"Did your ignorant a** listen to the whole interview?" he asks the co-hosts. "And that's what I hate about my people, Black people, we just take whatever and run with it."

He then took a moment to clarify that he didn't mean to put any disrespect on Pac's name and that he was simply comparing each person's influence and popularity in their respective fields.

"I was saying that he's the hottest person in politics, and had he dropped an album right now, he'd go diamond like 2pac did because he's the hottest person in what he's doing," Jeezy clarifies. "He's everywhere, like you can't turn on the TV and not see this dude. And he really don't give a f**k."

Oh, OK. He then said he feels Trump is breathing new life into the Republican Party that they've never seen before, and that is the main reason why he has gotten this far.

"For the Republican Party, they're boring," he adds. "They're like old people that just count they money. He's giving them something they never had. He's giving them excitement. He's rebellious. This man called Hillary Clinton the devil, I wouldn't call my auntie that.
