BET Awards 2023: Cardi B Reacts To Offset and Quavo’s Reunion For Takeoff Tribute
BET Awards 2023 were memorable for so many reasons. Still, one of the highlights was definitely when Offset and Quavo reunited on stage for the first time since the passing of their fellow Migos group member Takeoff.
Not only was it a moment that hip-hop fans loved, but it’s also very much Cardi B-approved.
“I can’t take it right now… proud of my boys,” the Bronx rapper tweeted after the stunning performance.
BET Awards 2023: Quavo and Offset Reunite Onstage for Surprise Performance
The Atlanta duo took to the BET Awards stage under dimmed lights as Quavo and Takeoff’s “HOTEL LOBBY” began playing. In the middle of both artists was the spotlight where Takeoff would’ve stood to deliver his opening verse. An image of a spaceship was subsequently revealed behind them.
As the crowd erupted, the pair delivered an incredible performance of their 2016 hit “Bad and Boujee.”
Previously, Quavo and Takeoff had been at odds, which some speculate led to the creation of Quavo and Takeoff’s duo group Unc & Phew. They had, though, recently been spotted together.
