Culture’s biggest night is already underway and viewers already been witness to several memorable moments and show-stopping performances.
Migos founding members Quavo and Offset sent the room into a frenzy with a surprise performance of their breakthrough single “Bad and Boujee” as a storm of beautiful female dancers flooded the BET Awards stage. A photo of the late Takeoff shined bright on a screen behind them. The appearance marked Migos’ first musical performance since Takeoff’s passing last November 2022. Although the rapper is no longer with us, his presence was highly felt.
With their rapid-fire flows, catchy ad-libs, and infectious beats, Migos established themselves as trendsetters in the rap game. Their influence on the genre cannot be overstated, as their signature style has been emulated by countless artists.
