'Black Panther' Fans Are Going Crazy Over Reports Of This Megastar Joining The Film's Sequel

You'll never guess who's coming to Wakanda.

A Black Panther sequel is reportedly about to be in the works, and the original film's director and co-writer, Ryan Coogler, is reportedly planning on enlisting a certain music and film star to play a villain.

According to Metro, Coogler is allegedly trying to get Atlanta star Donald Glover to join the cast.

"Ryan Coogler is currently mapping out Black Panther's sequel and has written in a number of new characters that movie-goers will be introduced to when it premieres," a source told the publication. "One of those characters, if he gets his wish, will be played by Childish Gambino."

The insider went on to add that while "nothing is set in stone" just yet, "informal talks" are happening among Coogler, Glover and "reps from Marvel and Disney to see if they can make it happen."

Interestingly enough, despite his character, Erik Killmonger, dying in the first installment, Michael B. Jordan is also in talks to return for the sequel.

"They're still yet to decide if Michael B. Jordan will return in some capacity but if he doesn't, it's likely Gambino may play some kind of villain," the source added.
