During the trial for the pregnant woman who was butchered by a woman being called the “womb raider,” a female juror passed when a graphic image was displayed in court. 

The Bronx Supreme Court trial had to adjourn early on Thursday during the testimony of medical examiner Declan Mcguone. During Mcguone’s testimony, prosecutors showed photos of victim Angelikque Sutton’s slain body, reported New York Daily News.

When the forensic pathologist pointed to an enlarged image of Sutton’s detached uterus and umbilical cord, Justice Margaret Clancy noticed Juror No. 7 had passed out in her seat.

Luckily, Mcguone was able to leave the stand and check the juror’s vitals. A recess was called in the court and an ambulance arrived to take the juror to a local hospital.

The judge told the rest of the jury that, although the juror was awake and fine, the trial for suspect Ashleigh Wade would be adjourned until Friday.

"That must have shook you guys up, like it did everyone, when the juror was unresponsive," Clancy said to the remaining jurors.

During the juror selection process, Clancy allowed people to opt out of the case due to it's graphic nature.

Mcguone testified that the 22-year-old victim died from multiple stab wounds on and around her neck and bled out before the baby was removed.

Wade, 23, is accused of murdering Sutton and cutting out her unborn baby on Nov. 20, 2015, Sutton’s wedding day.
