XXXTentacion Reportedly Had A Small Fortune On Him During Robbery And Murder
There are more details emerging from the circumstances surrounding XXXTentacion’s death.
The rapper was killed on June 18, but at the time, motive for his murder wasn’t crystal clear. Many believe it to be a robbery than murder, and that plot is now starting to gain even more traction.
CNN reports that the 20-year-old rapper had $50,000 in cash on him that was supposedly stuffed in a Louis Vuitton bag the day he was killed. He was at RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach to purchase a new motorcycle when he was shot dead. X had reportedly just withdrawn the cash.
Surveillance video shows X and a friend arriving at RIVA around 3:30 p.m. local time, just before an SUV pulled up. An affidavit claims two men got out of the vehicle and casually passed by X and his friend who were shopping in the store. He was shot a few minutes later after returning to his vehicle.
Michael Boatwright and Dedrick Williams have been indicted on first degree murder charges and armed robbery. Robert Allen and Trayvon Newsome were also indicted but remain at large.
