This summer has been one of the most difficult and trying times for Toya Wright.

Just days after her initial divorce filing from her husband, Mickey “Memphitz” Wright, she received the shocking and tragic news hat two of her brothers, Rudy and Josh Johnson, were killed in a shooting incident in New Orleans.

Through all of this, Wright has experienced the unconditional support of friends and family alike, including from her ex, Lil Wayne. Today (August 27) a new development in her divorce proceedings has been reached which should let the entertainer begin to cope and start a new chapter.

As reported, the soon-to-be ex-couple has reached a settlement in their divorce. Per the agreement, Toya is ready to have the judge sign off on the papers so that will be that.

According to the report, neither party will seek alimony now or in the future and regarding their cars and personal properties, each will keep whatever belongings are currently with them. Toya is also reportedly letting Mickey keep the furniture in his home and will shell out $8,000 on top of that.

As part of Toya dishing out $8,000, Mickey has agreed to in return waive all rights to any money she may be making from her book, titled “How to Lose a Husband,” and from her company, Before Bed Headz.

An interesting agreement, but overall we’re glad to pair are working it out so the divorce can be finalized and both can move forward.
