NEW YORK, NY – SEPTEMBER 16, 2010 – Beginning Monday, September 20, "106 & Park" will launch “Music Matters Week.” This special week will serve as the launch pad for "106 & Park's" new initiative “Music Matters Tuesdays,” which will provide a platform for the next BET Superstars.  Each Tuesday, an artist will be invited to world premiere their new videos as well as perform live on the "106 & Park" stage. 

For 30 years, BET has been the place to find some of the most profound musical artists of our time.  This 30-year tradition continues into the new decade with the Music Matters campaign highlighting the next round of BET stars through music, bios, videos, photos and intimate interviews where the artists in their own words explain who they are and what music means to them. New artists will be introduced weekly, so log on to BET.com/musicmatters to find the next BET Superstar and hear for yourself why music matters.
