Terrell Owens Might Press Hate Crime Charges After Wild Altercation at Starbucks
Terrell Owens might decide to press hate crime charges against the man who went on a racial tirade against him at Starbucks.
TMZ is reporting that the retired NFL wide receiver could go from suspect to victim in a Starbucks altercation earlier this week, thanks to a video showing the man hurl racial slurs against him.
Footage shows a man named Arman telling Owens that he's a "f****** knuckle-running, spear-chucking, monkey-ass looking motherf*****." Owens says people are urging him to file hate crime charges against the man.
Arman insists that the incident started when Owens kicked him inside a Starbucks, but the ex-NFL star maintains that the man threw a cup full of liquid into his car and when confronted for it, began hurling racial insults.
Police originally were investigating this incident as a battery against Arman, but this video can change things.
On Wednesday, Owens was named amongst first-year Pro Football Hall of Fame nominees.
