This Day in Black History: July 24, 1969
Former co-star of The Game grew up in the Bahamas before attending the University of North Carolina and played for the university's basketball team, the Tar Heels.
While in school, Fox played basketball and never missed a game in four seasons. He later went on to become a first-round draft pick with the Boston Celtics in 1991.
Fox switched to the Los Angeles Lakers in 1997 before retiring from basketball in 2004.
In television, Fox’s first role was in William Friedkin’s Blue Chips in 1994. He then had various roles before landing a recurring role on BET’s The Game and performing as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars.
