Police Detective To Testify That YNW Melly Was Triggerman In Death Of Two Friends
A police detective is slated to testify that YNW Melly was “more likely” the person who pulled the trigger in the murders of his two friends.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, police detective Christopher Williams will be called by prosecutors as an expert witness and is expected to testify that Melly probably fired the fatal shots inside a car.
The detective says he has extensive training and expertise in reconstructing shootings, and it’s his analysis that shows Melly shot his gun and not co-defendant Cortlen Henry.

Melly and Henry were arrested and charged with the double homicide of their friends. During their initial investigation, police determined Melly shot the men, and that he and Henry then staged the crime scene to look like a drive-by shooting.
Detective Williams says he reconstructed the shooting by looking at blood splatter and the angles of the bullet holes and gunshot wounds, according to the documents. It appears, from the analysis, that the shooter was seated in the backseat, behind the driver, and shot the victim from inside the car.
YNW Melly could face the death penalty if he’s convicted.
