First, death threats, then having to crush the dreams of a child? It's a tough job, and Nicole Scherzinger may not be cut out for it. The X Factor judge had a backstage breakdown after she announced the elimination of 13-year-old Rachel Crow on live television.
TMZ had a camera on a sobbing Nicole, who told producers, "I couldn't make that decision on my own ... I didn't send her home. I adore Rachel."
"When I saw Rachel's look on her face, I just died inside," she added.
You can hardly blame Nicole for getting emotional about disappointing the cute-as-a-button aspiring star. But she won't have to feel guilty for long ... rumor has it that Crow is already being courted by Disney for a "laundry list of possible opportunities ... including TV, movies and radio."
