Jeremy Meeks has been hot on the tabloids with his new bae, Topshop heiress Chloe Green, but while he was building on that romantic relationship, he consciously ignored his marriage with his wife, Melissa Meeks.

Now, for the first time since Jeremy and Choe went public, Melissa is speaking out on it all, and she's remained completely candid with her comments.

According to the Daily Mail, Meeks' wife of eight years appeared on This Morning with Ben Shepherd and Amanda Holden where she confessed that she was completely blindsided by his infidelity, and, despite it all, she still misses him.

"He was an amazing husband, honestly. When I think about it, I still get emotional," she said. "It's still very raw. We had a really good life together... I had no indication he was looking for another relationship."

Expounding on his infidelity, Melissa explained that she just thought they were going through a rough patch, as most married couples experience.

"People who are married, you go through your ups and downs," she said. "I thought it was a new chapter in our lives. We'd have to get over the hump and it would be fine."

She grew emotional when she recalled the moment Meeks admitted that he had been cheating on her this past June after photos of him and Green cozied up together were published following his prison release.

"He was just apologetic for how things came out and how hurt I was by it," she continued. "I don't really think there's any denying it based on the photos that were out there... I really wasn't too sure where I wanted to go in the relationship. That's my husband of eight, nine years. I love him deeply. I still do. It's very hard when I think about what happened."

Despite all that's happened, Melissa admits that she's come to terms with the fact that their marriage is over.

"I wish I still had my husband to go home to," she said. "But I don't believe there is any hope."

The former felon filed for divorce from Melissa shortly after the photos of him and his new lady went viral.
