Tory Lanez Reportedly Arrested on Drug and Weapon Charges
According to XXL, Tory Lanez unfortunately had a brush with the law on Wednesday (April 12) that resulted in several charges against him including possession of a concealed firearm and marijuana.
The site has reported that the “Say It” R&B singer was arrested by Miramar police in Broward County, Florida, and was hit with four other charges.
In addition to the weapon and drug allegations, he was also charged with failure to register a motor vehicle, driving without a valid driver’s license and failure to show proof of liability insurance. XXL adds that while his cannabis of 20 grams or less charge is only a first degree misdemeanor, he does face a third degree felony for the weapon charge.
Given that the Toronto native makes out successfully from this legal hiccup, expect to see him crooning on Future’s Nobody Safe tour and Coachella's music festivities this spring as well.
