Lil Wayne Being Sued—Again
Lil Wayne helped tear the stage down yesterday at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, along with Big Boi, Eminem and Wiz Khalifa, but it hasn’t stopped adversaries from slapping him with lawsuits all week.
The latest jab comes from the production team Play-N-Skillz, who are claiming to have not received royalties for Wayne’s Tha Carter III, one of the biggest albums of 2008, according to the MTV’s UK affiliate. The production duo was apparently upset with Weezy back in 2009 but said a lawsuit was the last thing they wanted. While no one's not sure what the straw was that broke the camel's back, they have finally decided to sue the rapper for $1 million for their work on the T-Pain collaboration “Got Money.”
It’s a good thing the New Orleans native is readying the new album Tha Carter IV for later this summer because he’s going to need some extra dough to fight the fighters. Hopefully he remembers to pay everyone this go round.
